Cahill’s crossing Arnhem Land!!!

Ex tropical cyclone Alissia dumped a lot of rain over the East alligator catchment area flooding Cahill’s crossing making it impassable to “vehicles” and we missed it by a day to get the new bore platforms over to Oenpelli for the upgraded bore fields. With the help of Jayrow Helicopter’s we lifted the platforms across the river, to then truck them to their new home of the Oenpelli bore fields, Jayrow’s Pilot Dennis was a true professional and showed his skills making the 400kg lifts seem effortless and pin point accurate, with Fred NT staff directing him below. definitely one for the records!!!

Congratulations to all involved with the lifts that went without a hitch, it’s not every day we get to work with a jet ranger helicopter!!!

Fred NT’s Plane after it’s new left hand engine was installed, flew it’s staff to Oenpelli.

it was a pleasure flying it again, it sure was missed while it was out of action due to the install. R&R Avionices done a great job with the 100 hourly service and installation of the new engine.
